Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Prompts By Design (the “Service”), operated by Orman Beckles. By creating an account, accessing the website at promptsbydesign.com, or using the Prompts By Design Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. We support sign-in through Google and Apple OAuth; we never see your password for those providers.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of any prompts, descriptions, keywords, thumbnails, and other content you create or upload (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, display, and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you. You represent that you have all rights necessary to upload Your Content and that it does not violate the rights of any third party or applicable law.

Prompts are private by default. You may choose to share prompts with specific users or make them publicly available to other signed-in users through the sharing features. You are responsible for deciding what to share and with whom.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Generate, distribute, or store content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or our backend systems.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to damage or interfere with the Service.
• Scrape, spider, or automatically collect data from the Service without permission.
• Create fake accounts, spam, or use the Service to send unsolicited communications.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or that we reasonably believe are associated with spam or malicious activity.

4. AI-powered features

The Service includes optional AI features (enhance, research, refine, variable suggestions, and app-rule cleanup). These features are provided on an “as-is” basis and only send data to our AI provider when you explicitly trigger them. You are responsible for reviewing and approving any AI-generated output before using it. We do not use Your Content to train AI models.

5. Payments, refunds, and lifetime access

Optional lifetime access is a one-time purchase processed by Stripe. The price displayed at the time of your purchase is the price you will pay. Because the offer is locked to each user at the time of purchase, future price changes do not apply retroactively.

You get the free prompts at no cost. If you choose to pay for Lifetime access, it is covered by a 30-day money-back guarantee: email ormanbeckles@gmail.com within 30 days of your purchase and we will refund you, no questions asked. After 30 days, payments are final. You are paying for access to the library and tools as they exist when you purchase, not for any future result or outcome.

We reserve the right to run promotions or offer coupons at our discretion. Coupon and promotional pricing is also final at the time of purchase.

6. Prompts and how you use them

The prompts available through the Service, including any shared or curated prompts, are provided as tools you can adapt for your own use. We review prompts before sharing them and update them over time, but we cannot guarantee that any prompt will produce a specific result, work with every AI model, or be appropriate for every situation.

You are solely responsible for how you use the prompts and any output they help generate. We are not liable for the content, accuracy, legality, or consequences of anything produced by you or an AI tool using a prompt from the Service. Always review output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or business decisions.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code, trademarks, and branding are owned by Orman Beckles and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request deletion of your account by emailing us at the address below. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required to do so by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but provisions related to ownership, liability, and governing law survive.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that any prompt will produce useful, accurate, or safe output, or that it will work with any particular AI tool or model.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Orman Beckles will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service, any prompt, or any output generated with a prompt. This includes liability for any decision you make or action you take based on content produced using the Service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Orman Beckles from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, any prompt or output you use or distribute, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
